The quality looks great and would definitely recommend as a poly-carbonate decorative alternative to plain metal bracket. The handle size is perfect for average sized hands with/without gloves. It serves both purposes (gate handle and rubber bump stop) well and prevent the annoying clank of gate latches. My father loves the minimalist look and finish to complete he recently renovated walk-in gate. The gate is (2mm gauge) 1.5" x 3" tube coated steel with bolted on fencing for dimensional reference. The material appears to be great quality and appears durable for long-term use.We did have to replace the supplied screws with stainless steel higher quality material as the supplied screws are for vinyl gate materials and not our thick metal steel gate, so keep in mind it does compliment painted/coated metal gates with swapped out screws. We also had to drill our own holes on the face (using regular metal drill bits and countersink bit) as the gate was narrower than normal vinyl gates on the face side, but this was easily done.Surprised to find the well thought out design incorporating slim but well made rubber stop, gate handle and sturdy attachment points from smaller company and not larger known brands. Would definitely recommend this choice and this company! People entering or leaving through the gateway will slam the gate without any finesse. We have had to replace gate latches and other swing stops annually. And we have had to make repairs to the gates where the wood has become damaged from gate latches being torn from their anchors. This device has extended the service life of the gates and latches.
