I think at least 18. I use it with my Cinch and it shapes perfectly for my journals. It's perfect weight wire. **Q: I need a wire for my cinch 2:1 to use in a 130 sheets 24lb. Would thisnsize work ok?** A: Unfortunately our wires will most likely not work for a Cinch machine. It has come to our attention that whenever someone orders our wires for their Cinch machine, the wires seem to be a bit bigger, so they don't fit well, and then they're just returned back to us. Great Value and quality! *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2021* I wanted to make some school planners for my classmates and one for our Professor customized for our school work and researched the best value for all the materials. These binders certainly does the job. This is my first planner and I had 190 pages of 20lb paper and 10 pages of 28lb. paper. I also used 50pt chipboard for the covers and wrapped them with sticker paper and then used acrylic spray lightly to give the cover a semi gloss. This all makes the complete planner a little stuffed. I guess the 220 max pages does not take into consideration the thickness of the covers. However, the description did say the overall thickness of the project needs to be max 7/8" so this should include your covers as well. So now that I know this, I will use around 180 papers with the covers to make it just right.However, at 205 pages plus the covers, the planner still works. The pages can turn and the planner does not sit all the way flat as I would like it to, but it's not too obvious, I know my professor will not mind it. I'll do better next time.
