It has a gentle compression which is also good. I did have an issue with the sizing. I wear a size 9.5 wide Hoka and according to the sizing chart I needed a size medium. I also have Morton’s toe or “Greek feet” where my second AND third toe are longer than my first toe. When I wore the medium, it actually pulled my second toe under and made it sore. I exchanged it for a large and the fit was perfect. I highly recommend these socks!
