I LOVE this machine! I have double knee replacements and needed something to help me build muscle strength in my legs in preparation for skiing. The set up is super easy. All I had to do was connect the straps and get started. I have to exercise caution stepping onto it to make sure I don't lose my balance, but once I'm on it the motion is easy. I can stand tall or squat a little while I use it, strengthening my muscles in different ways. I don't have to use the straps, but they help me develop rhythm while exercising. The screen is easy to see. It's easy and I can feel a burn after just a couple minutes. This is definitely a great value and one of my best (and simplest) exercise machine purchases! It doesn't take up much space and stores easily.

Revised to mention: I seen some reviews that say it is hard on the knees. Yesterday I started to experience a little knee pain while working out, I straightened my leg to correct my form and the pain went away. So be mindful of how you stand on it to prevent injury to the knee if that is your concern. Running always causes me knee pain so I can no linger run, and I have a lot of muscle spasms in my feet so I have to make sure to wear good shoes and plant my feet to the outermost edges of the machine. Hope that helps. This little machine gives me a good workout. I am seriously out if shape so I had to only do ten minutes at a time to start. Now I am up to thirty but going slower on it. It doesn’t give a wide enough movement but it works well. I will say I had to put it between a wider doorway as I don’t have the balance needed to stand on it without support.

This is a pretty good machine. Affordable, for what you get. I feel like it is quite effective and can give a good workout. I would have liked a bit more width in the stride. Balance could be an issue for some people, but that is apparent in the photo.

I got this because of all the hype on fb. To my pleasant surprise, I have enjoyed using this machine. Very easy on my knees, which is what I was looking for and fun to do just watching TV or listening to music. Easy to store away and doesn’t take up much room. Very smooth movement so can be used in apartment setting with no issues.

I was so excited for this. It was easy to assemble, it is a space saver which is nice I hate bulky things however I am in the right weight limit for this product and I used it a couple times and a piece broke off the bottom mid glide it was so scary, now it makes a grinding noise and leaves black shavings on the floor. I tried reaching out to the company about it. Sent photos etc. finally I contacted Amazon after not getting anywhere to get my refund.

My 50+ year old daughter bought one of these and was delighted to use it, so I went out and bought one, too. Big mistake! This is not safe for a 76 year old who just wants to maintain good health indoors using simple exercise equipment. I could easily take a fall from this if I am not careful and it hurt my arthritic joints after one attempt using it. As the box was damaged upon delivery and recycled, I chose not to return it and will swap this with a friend for a piece of equipment she had that is better suited to me. Very disappointed in this piece about how 'shaky' it is to get on it and how it is not a good idea for seniors to use. UPDATE: Although I was not able to use this exercise equipment, I chose not to send it back because I knew I could give it to a young woman who COULD use it and would be excited to get it. Much to my surprise, the seller contacted me shortly after posting my review and refunded my purchase price. I was stunned as this is the first time that has ever happened. I was so impressed with the care and kindness of the seller who was more concerned about my well being and happiness over my purchase than his own bottom line. Amazing!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this seller and his equipment and the SUPERIOR customer service offered. By the way, my 50ish daughter who originally bought this equipment still uses it and LOVES it! That makes us two happy customers. GREAT SELLER for sure!!

Cool idea, but it doesn't have a lot of resistance and doesn't stand up to sustained use. Within days, I was noticing black powder and flakes everywhere, which I realized was the paint from the armature/body being rubbed off by the platform moving back and forth. Within a few months, one of the bungees on the undercarriage of the thing (which is what creates the resistance) snapped. It's a pretty simple mechanism, so I replaced it with a DIY bungee loop, which also began to stretch and break just as the second original loop broke. I'm now looking to see if I can find some heavy duty rubberbands or something that can do the same job as the bungees, and be replaced if/when they break from the constant stretching.

Loving my purchase!! The design on this side stepper makes it easy to move around the house so during the day, I use this with my stand up desk and “slide” or “ski” while I’m working. I make sure to burn at least 1000 calories a day before I call it quits. This has become a game changer in my daily routine! The build quality is perfect as the counter on the machine doesn’t keep going if you have to stop and get off for a moment to perform a task. It will too and restart when you get back on and start working out again which I love. The size of the machine is perfect and it doesn’t take up much room. Can be stored under a desk or bed when not in use.
