I originally bought this device for myself to help me stay focused during the day, and it has honestly made a huge difference. It locks my phone safely for the amount of time I choose, and it really helps me stay away from distractions when I need to study, work, or get things done. After seeing how well it worked for me, my family started using it too. Now the kids know exactly where their phones go and for how long, especially when they have chores or responsibilities to finish. It has helped create better routines at home, less screen time, and more discipline. The box is sturdy, easy to use, and the timer has worked perfectly every single time. Overall, this has been a very good investment for our household. Highly recommended if you want more control over phone use!

this is a wonderful tool for so many things. I lock up cell phones to limit kids screen time. keeps medicine out of reach and even can lock up a key or two (pool key etc). works perfectly and love the emergency override as well as fortress mode. so far i have 3! highly recommend

This is worth the money I’ve been very productive since I’ve gotten it and I’ve used it several different times and I’ve only charged it once! Really like the locking mechanism

So I originally bought the medium sized timed lock box and I like it. It’s a great box. Great idea behind it, but I felt like the lid on. Mine was very faulty way too wiggly way too loose and maybe that was the standard. I don’t know. Either way. Customer Service is great. They gave me a refund for the original box I purchased so I bought the smaller one. excellent box you may not be able to fit a lot in it, but I didn’t need to put a lot in the smaller phone size box will fit my needs much better. The lid is attached to the bottom and once you lock it that sucker is tight and it isn’t wiggling there isn’t even space to get anything in there. Plus you charge it with a USB. There’s no batteries to insert which makes it even better. If I had to nit pick one teeny thing I would have to say is if you’re putting small stuff in that smaller box to begin with the charging hole if you’re not using a cord to charge your phone through it it could be used to grab stuff and pull it out of if whatever’s inside is thin and small enough but other than that, this box is wonderful. It’s exactly what I’m looking for and it’ll serve me well.

Works pretty well so far. 11 year old has not been able to break it open. Bedtime is a lot easier now.

Works great, just like they say it does. Wish the materials were a little more durable, but I guess we will have give it a little use and revisit “construction” at a later date. I would recommend this at any rate. HEED MY WARNING….. I just returned a Vaydeer metal lock box I purchased before this one. And, although it is metal and much more durable… I would never buy again from an unethical seller. I returned it because they sold me a USED box, then wanted to charge me $20 to unlock it, to remove my stuff before shipping it back. It DOES NOT have multiple modes like this one, which allow for self unlock if needed. It’s either locked, or it’s not. They give you 1 free unlock, but apparently someone already used this, as it was previously used. I noticed after proceeding to remove the screens protective film (per instructions), but it was missing. This was the 1st indication it had been used previously, then noticed the LCD screen was scratched severely. Even after calling Vaydeer customer service and explaining to them, I needed to unlock it because they sold me a used unit and had to be returned…… they still offered no concession and demanded $20 to get my items out. Stay away from Vaydeer boxes at all cost. Some photos of this below.

Wow. This is really neat. I don't have a cell phone weakness or whatever. I just like putting keys to something important so I don't mess with it too much. (giggity) I'm between relationships. Otherwise, it's built well, inexpensive, seems to lock nicely, it's lightweight and is easy to use. Not sure about battery life yet but it shouldn't matter because you can plug it in to unlock it if needed. Sensibly, there are useful instructions on the back of the device for when you discard the original printed ones. (See images) I'll drop an update if it fails before an acceptable time. Try one and maybe save you from yourself.

Expensive for what it is, but does exactly what you need it to. One of those gadgets that’s just simply required for most people in the modern age. I place my phone in the lockbox at 10pm every day, plug the charger in and configure it to unlock at 8:30am the next day. This means: 1) I can now read at night without any temptations, and get a proper wind down period. 2) The first thing I do when I wake up at 7am is anything but checking my phone. Amazing. In an emergency, you can unlock it. But there’s enough friction to make you think “I can’t be bothered” without it being unsafe in the event of something where you genuinely need your phone. I’ve only needed to do this twice, and the unlocking code worked as promised (can’t comment on the fortress mode - never used it). Highly recommend for helping you create healthier habits on how to spend your free time outside of work, and has a very positive impact on your sleep. All you need is a bit of willingness on your side to leverage this little gadget into a system that works.

Works exactly as you'd expect. Setting the timer is very intuitive and, after a 15-second cooling off period, the lock engages and doesn't unlock until the timer has finished. The box is quite sturdy, and there is padding on the inside to cushion your phone. You can also charge your phone through a slot in the bottom. I've been using it to prevent me using my laptop at night. I can disable the WiFi on my laptop via my phone, and then lock the phone away to prevent me turning the WiFi back on.

Honestly, I’m quite happy with it. It’s easy to operate and the lock is quite secure. I bought to help curb my phone usage and it worked! If your phone is on the thicker side or if you’d like to store other items on top of the phone in box, you should check out the bigger model from this brand.

Un desastre, la programación de la máquina esta totalmente mal, al momento de meter el celular, el cronómetro deja de funcionar, y se queda el celular adentro, después la pantalla se apaga como si no tuviera pila aunque si tiene, tengo que esperar hasta que la máquina reacciona, depues la máquina empieza hacer el sonido que se ve en el vídeo y no hay forma de pararlo, tengo que esperar hasta que se le acabé la batería para que deje de hacer el ruido, y lo peor es que para la devolución tengo que ir a estafeta entre semana lo cuál es imposible para mi por el trabajo, una total pena la idea de producto es buena lamentablemente esta totalmente defectuoso.

This is brilliant. I have limited myself to two cigarettes every weekend - I cannot have tobacco in the house, as I lack will power! I set this box in 'fortress mode' which cannot be overridden to unlock Saturdays @ 7.00pm. I lock it up again immediately - perfect!! Also good for limiting mobile phone use.
