I really love the Lancôme Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara in Brown. It gives my lashes beautiful length and lift — honestly better than almost any other mascara I’ve tried. It wears so well throughout the day without smudging or flaking, and it seems to last a long time before needing a replacement. One of my favorite things is that it’s a tubing mascara. If you’ve ever done a side-by-side comparison, you know there’s just nothing quite like tubing formulas — they separate and define lashes perfectly and come off cleanly with warm water at the end of the day. The brown shade is a gorgeous, rich color — softer than black but still gives great definition, which is perfect for those of us who prefer a more natural look. I also love that I can grab it on Amazon, where it’s often available at a great price. This has definitely become a staple in my makeup routine!

I have found my holy grail of mascaras!!! I have been on the hunt for the perfect mascara forever. I’ve tried others, but they either flake, get clumpy, or I’m left with the WORST raccoon eyes by the end of the day. Not with this one. Not only is it the perfect shade of brown, but it lasts all day and comes off easily for how durable it is. No more running, flaking, raccoon eyes, or rubbing my eyes until they hurt to take it off!!! The price, I was iffy about, but it’s worth every penny. 10/10 for sure!

I have a new forever love. This mascara checks ALL the boxes - easy to apply, the applicator doesn’t collect goop, it layers beautifully, and despite extreme staying power is somehow easy to remove. Even better is that it is readily available in a delicious brown that is warm and flattering in every light and shade of skin. Listen up everyone - I get that you want big fat long lashes and think that the only way to achieve that is with inky black mascara but that is 100% false. Play to your complexion and tone and consider a softer color in an excellent formula. I was a ferocious Dior Show devotee for decades. Then after bouts of dry eye and getting tired of the smudgy wand cleaning, I stopped. When it became impossible to find brown in waterproof, I tried a bunch of cheaper alternatives and eventually stopped wearing it for a few years. Never again. This is my new love - forever and ever.

Best mascara I’ve used for my straight, stubborn blonde lashes. I’m a redhead with blonde lashes so the brown color is beautiful and doesn’t look too harsh. It doesn’t flake and stays on all day.

I love the natural look of this mascara so much!! The brown shade is beautiful and it separates lashes SO well. There is no flaking when I only apply to my top lashes, but there is flaking when I put it on my bottom lashes within a few hours. That’s the only negative I can say about this mascara. It’s easy to apply, easy to remove, and doesn’t irritate my very sensitive skin around my eyes. Also, it appears to be water resistant!

I got the good natural-looking color I was looking for. The rest of the story: artful but impractical packaging of the product - Square? Really? Try to hold that to apply on your left eye when you're right-handed. As with most mascara wand/tubes, lots of wasted product but this was more than usual. As for Instant Volume -- it's sticky, which end of the day produces a gloppy buildup that is not pretty. Thankfully, it's not hard to remove. Not worth the money.

I already really loved this mascara in black but the brown delivers a softer, more natural look, but still adds the most amazing length and definition. It lifts the lashes nicely without clumping, and the curved brush makes it easy to reach every lash. Perfect for everyday makeup when you want something a bit more subtle but still polished. My brow technician compliments my lashes every single month (and she also does lashes). One I’ll repurchase again and again.

This is a really good mascara. Its stays in all day. No smudging. The x wand gives a perfect finish. My last mascara seemed to gunge up and dry around the opening wasting a lot of the mascara. Very happy to buy this again.
