I like smoothness of operation with minimal vibration and the variable speed setting. I’m not a big fan of the battery operated units, probably due to my age. This tool so far has worked better than my Fein did when it was new. With the right blades for the job, work is quick and easy. Acquired for one task, which it performed perfectly. Now I get to use it for the next 30 years for other stuff all at no cost. I framed in some new window openings for my stucco covered house, I worked from the inside out. Built the rough opening frames with 2 X 4s, fastened them in place behind the stucco, then used the multi-tool with diamond blades, set the blade flat on the frame and cut perfect openings in the stucco, with no chipping or tear out.
