**Q: If I use this fabric around tomato and pepper plants,etc.   will the nutrients and water still get through to the roots?**
A: Yes, absolutely.  The fabric is unidirectionally porous.

**Q: Does this product have stripes located 12 inches apart to make for easy plant alignment.**
A: YES it does. It is an excellent product. I bought a 200ft roll @ 60" wide. Used 100 ft on a shrub bed and put 3/4 -1" gravel on top. Looks great. Only 3 or 4 weeds in 6 months popping through at the edges. A quick zap with weed killer and that's all I have done to it in 6 months.

**Q: Is this the same as geotextile fabric ?**
A: After a brief Google search, I believe it is. I really like this material for my plant beds.

The seller of this product, Spreetail, are fine folks. Apparently, my original order was lost by the shipper or something, and before I even knew there was a problem, Spreetail notified me there was a shipping issue and sent out a new package that I received promptly. You just don’t see that kind of care be taken anymore and I wanted to let everyone know about my experience. Dewitt weed blocker is the best too. The rolls are packaged well and it’s a heavy material bound to hold up better than the cheap paper-like only weed block that I am used to seeing at the big box stores. It has an open weave poly backing to give it some strength. Overall, very impressed with the product AND the service.
