You can use this in any gasoline or diesel engine. The difference is the ISO (red bottle) contains isopropyl alcohol. The yellow bottle contains methanol. Isopropyl alcohol evaporates faster therefore removing the water faster. Methanol is better at lowering the water's freezing point. They both do both but just different ways. **Q: Can I use these in my Yamaha outboard?** A: Yes, any motor,engine that runs on gasoline, I used it on a snow blower **Q: Isopropyl vs methanol Heet for removing water, one combine the water so it can be burned out, the other does not. Anybody know which one?** A: At one point isopropyl was the only one recomended for fuel injected and other engines. I think it has less acidity than ethanol and methanol. It is the only one I keep in stock because it's safe and effective in all engines.
