A: Yes you can

**Q: Does the string fit through the open space on the trunk side of the fob?**
A: Yes it does. If you look at one of the pictures you can see it looped through. You can slip it through the trunk side and then put the ring part through the string loop and tighten it.

**Q: Can this be used on the Model 3 key fob?**
A: It can, but there is another key chain specifically made for the model 3 key fob. Looks just like this one but the string is shorter.
