Everything (soils and bags of mulch, which should be more acidic) read near the top of the meter. I submersed the sensors in a dish of white vinegar, which is supposed to have a pH of 2.6, and it read 6, even though the meter goes down to 3.5. When I first got it I was very busy and put the problem aside, and today when I finally tested it thoroughly I found I was 2 days outside the return window, so I am stuck with something I can't use. ### ⭐ Breaks easy *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2019* It's cheap and one too many functions. Better to have one good working function. I just wanted a moister detector. I am not even sure why anyone would need to use an instantaneous light detector for? And that didn't seem to work at all.
