I'm running multiple pieces of meat, and keeping an eye on the temperature in my smoker all at the same time. I'm getting great results.The only thing I'll warn people is don't set the alarms on your phone if you're not going to monitor it. When it starts going off it's loud beeping. Set it to vibrate instead.So far I've had great success. The beads on the probes are kind of useless. They get smoked and you can't tell what color they are. They also slip and slide up and down the cable, so it's hard to keep the beads in place at each end. That doesn't matter though.The app works great. I'm getting 50-75 feet through brick walls with my smoker outside.The little LCD unit is as good as any other remote thermometer. The probes are excellent quality and feel very heavy duty. They have ample cable to reach deep inside my smoker to give me those crucial temperatures.Overall, I'm very pleased. I've been using the 'alert when temperature' is reached method of cooking some steaks. I've been trying the slow cook, smoking method of grilling steaks and they've turned out properly so far. I just received it and used it on Sunday to smoke a large pork butt for fathers day. The App is easy to use and very straight forward. I was able to get things working in under five minutes. Bluetooth pairs quickly and stays connected. I've been smoking for about ten years now and have used many different thermometers and this I can truly say is the best one I've used. I've used the iGrill original and Mini in the past, but they sold out to Weber and made it impossible to use the app on my iPhone. Also, the fact that it comes with four probes is handy as well as you can put one on the grate level to see what the temp is there since most installed thermometers are too high (using Big Green Egg XL). Usually you get one or two, but more is better. I will probably buy a couple more so I can fill it up.
