I followed the instructions on fitting so ordered a large as recommend rather than the medium I would usually chose and the fit was just fine. The material seems good quality, is stretchy where in needs to be, waterproof , the shorts are long enough and comfortable to cycle in. The padded inner fits well and if comfortable to wear. I always feel that these things could do with more padding but it certainly gets rid of most of the rubs. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Strange sizing *by A***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 August 2015* It might just be that I'm a big fella, but these shorts seem to be made for people with no hips, or very narrow ones.They do fit, but only just. And the inner padded briefs are a crazy fit - I'm not sure what body type they are for.However, the padding does work and keeps your sit bones protected even on longer rides. The outer shorts seem to be well made and the pockets are functional.The material they are made from is odd, but not unpleasant.Would I buy another pair? No because of the weird sizing issue. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bargain shorts. *by M***B on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 April 2016* I used opt for Fox Sergeant shorts which are durable and of good quality construction but their prices seem to have doubled!I shopped around and tried these Brisk budget shorts, they initially look and feel a bit odd but the performance in wet and muddy mtb conditions is actually really good so I rate them at 4stars. They are a great bargain compared to the cost of the Fox products.One caveat: The liner supplied is a good fit for a super slim hipped teenager but not for a normal male adult.
