Easy 10-Minute Installation I’m very happy with how easy this dash cam was to install. I have the rearview mirror camera setup, and the entire installation took about 10 minutes. I removed the center plastic cover and the large wrap-around cover, disconnected the mirror connector, and plugged it into the Dongar cable. I then connected the Dongar cable to the camera port, plugged the power into the USB-C adapter, and connected the USB-C cable to the dash cam. That’s it! The dash cam fired right up and worked perfectly. No complicated wiring, no mess, and no need to run cables all over the vehicle. If you’re looking for a dash cam that’s easy to install, I definitely recommend this one.

I love a seamless look on and this did the job on my 2020 Subaru ascent. I was able to hide the USB-C wire under the cover of the rear mirror display and that was the hardest part. After that it was plug and play. A 12 inch USB-C wire is recommended. The one that comes with the Dongar may be to short for some applications. I used the REDTIGER F7NP 4K Dash Cam for my set up. So far so good.

I was really hesitant about this, but I went ahead and took the plunge. I have a 2025 RX 350h that this is installed in. The install was very easy. The hardest part was getting the plastic covers on/off the rearview mirror. There's not a ton of room behind the mirror. The Lexus cover clips are also an issue when you're trying to reassemble anything. Definitely find a Lexus install video because there are some tricky parts. I have a REDTIGER 4K Dash Cam Front Rear, STARVIS 2 Sensor hooked up to it and there seems to be no issues with the car electronic or the dash cam. The power cord section is plenty long to reach most center window placements. The connector definitely fits the Lexus RX 350. I spent a lot of time trying to make sure this was the right connector for my car without have to pull all molding off to inspect the connector in the car. I would definitely buy this again and have recommended it to friends.

Works well with my VIOFO A229 Plus. Its very easy to work with just plug it and connect your dash cam. The wiring was easy to hide in my Camry 2026. I bought this again for my dad and my Lexus. Dont second guess just get it and dont worry about hardwiring your dashcam. Makes it easier to connect to my auto dimming mirror and car lighter.

Took me about 15 minutes without rushing to install. It looks so much better than running it through the pillar and makes it much safer for the airbag to deploy now. Highly recommend!

Super easy setup and works perfectly for my Viofo A119 Mini 2 dash cam. I'm using it with my 2026 Toyota Camry LE WITH convenience package (this means it has the buttons below the mirror for garage doors). If you take off the cover under the mirror, you should be able to see a 10 pin connector. I originally bought the 16 pin one before realizing this. If you have a 2026 Toyota Camry XLE, iirc this should work too since that automatically comes with the convenience package.

I got this to connect my VIOFO A119 mini to my 22 Outback wilderness and it was perfect. The product feels well made. The wires are shrink wrapped well and the connectors are all securely attached. There’s an adhesive pad on the side of the USB port that sticks well to prevent that module from dangling. This also came with three cables, I ended up using the USB Type A to Type C for my dash cam. The cables that came with my cam were either too long or too short. Install was a breeze: 1) remove the plastic trim piece between the overhead console and the auto-dimming rear view mirror. 2) unplug the rear view mirror 3) plug the Dongar dongle into the mirror and then plug the original pigtail into the Dongar dongle. 4) push the excess length of the original pigtail into the hole leading to the overhead console. 5)replace the trim piece, routing your USB plug accordingly 6) stick the USB plug where you’d like with the included adhesive pad 7) plug in the dash cam The Dongar setup took me less than 5 minutes. It required zero tools and I did not need to remove any consoles or panels. The plastic trim between the mirror and console can be removed easily with your fingers. Note: this will only power your cam while your car is on. If you want parking mode then this isn’t the option for you.

Fits my 2026 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium so it is compatible. Installation requires popping off the cover, which is easy enough. My main complaint is the double-sided tape included with it just wasn't sticky enough to adhere properly. I ended up swapping in some 3M Heavy Duty mounting tape I had on hand, and it's held strong ever since (if you're having adhesion issues, replacing the tape is a solid fix). Running the cable takes a bit of trial and error since there are a few routes you can take that are pretty tight tolerances, but once you find the right path it fits nicely. Overall, it does the job powering my dashcam with a clean setup.

Make sure you get the correct Dongar for your vehicle - then it is al so simple, quick and tidy. Great Device!! Totally removes the hassle of feeding wires from the camera to some remote power source.

Bought for use with a Lexus NX350H, the hardest bit was removing the plastic panels around the mirror surround. The power adapter is a plug and play device and fits into the mirror power plug. It gives a very neat installation. Please note it does not include a trim removal device (I used one supplied with the dash cam).

As advertised…easy install without wires everywhere. Highly recommend.
