Encased Belt Case Compatible with iPhone 16 Pro Max - Compatible with MagSafe...

I've been a fan of Encased iPhone cases for several years and this one is no exception. It fit my iPhone 16 Pro perfectly and protects it, while not being overly heavy. The clip is of good quality and has been durable. The case has a nice textured feel that allows me to grip the phone easily.

Coming from a similar encased holster (Encased Thin Armor for iPhone 17 Pro Max Case with Belt Clip (Compatible with MagSafe) Slim Flexible TPU Cover with Rotating Holster (Matte Black), I really like this better. Without the clip (which seems to break after a year or two), it is more flush and doesn't poke me when seated in car like the latch clip. It fits snugly and is easily 'holstered' without looking at it. My one gripe is the MagSafe is so strong that my car MagSafe charger/holder requires me to use my finger behind it to slide it sideways to remove it. But it's certainly not going anywhere! Your mileage may vary...

Exactly the case I was looking for. It is thin, but feels sturdy, it is not rubber so it doesn’t stick in your pocket and the belt clip is also light but secure. Camera protection feels adequate for how I like it but some might like the encasement to be thicker.

Have had generally good luck with Encased products after Seidio disappeared. This version of phone + holster leaves a lot to be desired. Holster: The swing-in, latched securement mechanism of my earlier Seidio and Encased holsters worked fine, but the latches would snap after a year or two of regular use. For me that was a decent trade-off, since the phone could be easily retrieved in most situations. I had reservations about this slide-in design that have largely proved out. On the plus side, retention within the holster is excellent; phone is not falling out, even if subjected to a lot of force. By consequence, it's significantly more effort to retrieve the phone from this holster (versus a latch-type) and can be much more awkward, depending on how it's carried - under a coat is particularly bad. If clipped onto anything but a sturdy belt, you run the risk of pulling the phone and holster off together. Hooking your fingers under the collar that surrounds the camera lenses and pushing down on the holster with your thumb gets you more leverage, but that's hard to do without your holding your forearm more or less vertical - and can plant fingerprints and smudges on the lower lens. For some people, removing the phone from the holster could be a two-handed affair. I note that there are still latched designs, but these appear to be offered only with the beefier cases, which I did not want. Case: Thin and easy to snap the phone into. Reasonably grippy texture on the back. The sides have an eggshell texture that shows some minor, shiny wear marks from sliding in and out of the holster. Back is thicker to accommodate magsafe ring. This is quite functional - some might argue magnet is too strong (Apple wireless charging pad has to be pulled or pried off with a fair amount of effort (so far no excessive wear or strain where the cable attaches, but over time that would not surprise me. To keep the overall weight down, there are narrow notches cut out of the sides of the case at the corners and the material framing the right- and left-hand buttons is pretty aggressively skeletonized. As a result, these are weak points, particularly at the border of the case around the screen. Mine has split (see picture). Although this does not (yet) affect protection, holster fit, it does snag clothing and I'm waiting for that segment to break off leaving two sharp ends. At that point, I'll either file them down (and possibly break off and smooth the other side to match) or just throw this one away.

I've had several look alike holster and they were great. The Encased holster case is well made, with two exceptions: 1) The case is VERY tight and requires some effort to put the cover on or off only until the engine warms up. 2) The other issue is when the phone is in the case. You can't make any adjustments...silence, volume as the clasps on both sides cover buttons

This is a robust and solid phone holster. I've had it for six months, and I can tell you, it takes a beating, and my iPhone 17 is well protected. The spring on the clip is a good strength, with a bottom catch to keep your phone from riding up the belt and falling off. All of the buttons and the USB-C port are accessible, and I can magnetically charge the phone in the case with the belt holster attached.

This one is great. I ordered one recently and returned it as was difficult to put into the belt clip, burt this works easy and is secure.

I have used their cases for many iterations of the iPhone and they are strong and useful. This one works great as well!

This case is slim, snug, and has a grippy feel, all while maintaining the iPhone Air’s slim profile. An added bonus is the holster clip for those who want to attach it to their belt.
