So helpful to change pierced earrings ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value but can irritate the skin *by D***I on April 29, 2022* I read the reviews about these being uncomfortable and irritating the skin but I purchased them anyway because I needed them for a project to recreate Mirabel's earrings (from Encanto) for my LO. I knew my kiddo wouldn't have the clip on earrings on for any extended period of time so I wasn't too worried about irritation they could cause but I ended up gluing some felt to each side to prevent it. The backs can be easily adjusted for a more confortable fit by holding one side and gently pulling on the other to widen the opening. I would always suggest self-adjusting clip on earrings anyway because no two earlobes are exactly the same size. What can't be fixed is the irritation the clasps cause when touching the skin on the earlobe. The metal doesn't need to be so rough (see pics for a view of the holes and ridges in the metal) where it attaches to the ear, it's tight enough that there's no chance of it sliding loose so a smoother metal surface may help alleviate this issue.
