As someone with somniphobia, this alarm clock has been a godsend. I'm usually so tired that, whenever I do fall asleep, I sleep right through my phone's alarms. Keeping the bed shaker underneath my pillow has consistently woke me up, and I don't feel nearly as inclined to fall back asleep immediately after turning it off. It does have a snooze in case I do, the giant button at the top, and the "alarm off" button is smartly small and on the back of the alarm clock - so I can't turn it off easily if I'm still half-asleep. I imagine the bed shaker would work well for individuals with a hearing impairment. Edit: I noticed another review said that you can't use both the bedshaker and buzzer. You can use both, just keep the switch in the center under "BUZZ/VIB". In regards to the buzzer being quiet, note that this product ships with the buzzer set to "low" by default. Before this edit, I noted that the buzzer was quiet - this is why, lol. The "HIGH" setting is plenty loud.

I thought it would be much louder. Dissatisfied with that. But it is nice that it has vibrators also.and battery back up!

I bought my clock in November 2024. The PPLEE clock shakes the bed as promised; after that, it's all downhill. My clock 'loses' about two minutes a month. The manual shows a switch that allows the owner to choose between 12/24 hours, but this switch is not part of my clock. My clock includes a button on which is printed SET TIME, and directly over this button is imprinted on the clock, 12/24 HRS. Wha? The button functions to set time, yes, and I did somehow change my clock to 24 HRS. But how? I still can't figure it out. On top of that, the buttons are placed in such a way that greatly complicates making any adjustment. I wish I could recommend a better vibrating alarm. But this is the third or fourth I've bought. They're all lousy.

This alarm feels cheaply made and is not loud at all. You also cannot have both the sound and the vibration at the same time which is a standard feature for a hearing impaired alarm clock. The light also is not bright enough to get your attention
