Great for home schooling kids
Got this for home schooling and my kids love it. The amount of different things you can do is awesome. The instructions are great, because the kids can build it on their own some too. They might try and fail but they can try again and get it, they really can’t mess it up. I would definitely recommend this for its education value, functionality, and build quality. It has basically everything you need, and keeps them interested and learning. Currently using for 3rd and 6th grader.

Could have been better.
The parts are made cheap but are appropriate for the purpose. The book that comes with the kit on the other hand is terrible. It's incomplete and clearly was not written by a native english speaker. There are parts included with the kit that are never mentioned in the book. If you already understand basic electronics this is a decent teaching aid.

Excellent variety and easy of use for Electrical Experimenting
This is well made and connects well for a variety of electrical experiments. Teaches electrical principals. The book is fairly good on experiments, but you can also concert your own. The original packing is very compact and it is pretty hard to get it back exactly into the original container.; but that is okay. You might need an extra box for some of the parts. It is an easy fun way to learn about electrical principles and encourages learning.

Great way to learn about electricity and magnetism
The kit has both volt meter and amp meter which is great for kids to "see" electricity without touching it. The kit is very comprehensive for different experiments.

The magnets included are not permanent as they should have been. For example the compass does not work at all. One day I shall cut through the cover and remagnetize the needle. I have never experienced such a bad quality. Of course there is nothing bad which does not have something good in it. And vice versa. It will demonstrate the difference between good quality and poor quality and how to troubleshoot. I was offered a 25$ return and was informed that the manufacturer would be informed to correct his product. This is more than I expected. I hope that the manufacturer will correct these problems and improve his quality verification process.

Als ik voor basis-elektronica experimenten een vergelijkbare set van metaal aan zou moeten schaffen ben ik waarschijnlijk honderden euro's kwijt. Het plastic is dik en sterk. De handleiding is misschien iets te snel geschreven, getuige de dikke spelfout op de voorpagina. De handleiding is misschien wat teveel op kleine kinderen gericht. Ik denk dat de variabele weerstand bedoeld was (is) als een variabele inductiespoel, waarbij je het aantal windingen kan variëren. Dan gebruik je hem als ontvangende spoel en stroomregelaar naar bijvoorbeeld een lampje. Ik kan dat nu rustig onderzoeken. Omdat alles zo degelijk in elkaar zit kan je het ook goed combineren met proefelementen die je zelf ontwerpt of maakt, zoals een uitvergroot schaalmodel veld effect transistor (FET). Ik ben benieuwd om te zien of mijn schaalmodel ook met lage voltages het goed doet. Deze set is makkelijk en goed uitbreidbaar, dus ik ga er zelf veel plezier van hebben. Hij is met name bedoeld voor het testen van individuele elementen en wat deze doen. Voor uitgebreidere schakelingen zou je een "broodbord" aan kunnen schaffen, maar ook in combinatie daarmee kan je dit goed gebruiken.

Lo encuentro muy completo y toca todos los principios básicos de la electricidad, electrónica y magnetismo. Lástima que las instrucciones no vengan en español porque a los niños les cuesta más ya que no es el vocabulario que estudian en la escuela. Por lo demás, perfecto.

Bei dem Lernkit handelt es sich um einen sehr umfangreichen Koffer, mit dessen Inhalt man Grundlagenwissen zur Energiegewinnung und -umwandlung, zum Magnetismus und zur Schaltungstechnik vermitteln kann. Als verrenteter Elektriker habe ich damit die Möglichkeit, bei meinen Enkeln spielerisch Neugier zu wecken und später dann auf die praktischen und theoretischen Details einzugehen. Und bei dem Umfang des Koffers gibt es immer eine kleine Zielsetzung fürs nächste Mal. "Warum rollt der Magnetwagen weg, wenn ich mit dem anderen Magneten nur in die Nähe komme? Da ist doch gar nichts." Nachtrag vom 15.1.2022 Die beiliegende Dose mit Eisenspänen ist zu gut gefüllt, lässt sich aber nicht öffnen. Für die Darstellung eines Magnetfeldes sollte man dann doch mal zur Feile greifen, um auf einer entsprechenden Unterlage (durchsichtiger Dosendeckel o.ä.) mit weniger Spänen auf größerer Fläche ein Magnetfeld bildhaft zu erklären.
