Review: Using it as a stereo receiver amplfier. - I bought this unit because my Hifi system was too harsh for ears and they would feel like they were clogged up in 5 minutes on low volume. I changed speakers, positions, added soft materials to deflect sound and nothing. Turns out my reciever was too bright for my ears and no adjustments would work even with an EQ. I bought this and hooked up my turntable, 5 disc cd player, cassette, and 8 track to a switcher box and then plugged it to the Aux line. It all works fine and my ears are okay even on high volumes. The gauges light and move around and has responsive base and treble. Radio tuner is pretty decent. I was really amazed by how good my vinyl sounded on these speakers. Good sound and decent speakers. I even hooked up my Sony speakers and my ears were fine. If you love music this is a good starting point to go online and buy a used 30yr old cassette deck for $50 or a 5 disc cd player for about $80 and experience music like you never have. Very pleased.

A: The remote needs 2AAA batteries.  It's a pretty nice little system.  Good sound quality to my non-expert ears.

A: Blue. Does not pick up stations well.

A: Almost 4 1/2 inches tall

I bought this unit because my Hifi system was too harsh for ears and they would feel like they were clogged up in 5 minutes on low volume. ### ⭐ Sound quality

This seemed like a nice piece of equipment. When I plugged it in, everything is staticky and scratchy on the speakers. I've tried different ways to fix this, and nothing will fix the CD player from sounding like the CD is scratching or static or any kind of buzzing noise through the speakers. I have other media players that have ran through these speakers, and they have run just fine. So I know it's not the speakers. I was very excited to get this equipment and thought that it looked really cool, but it does not perform efficiently
