**Q: could anyone explain to me the difference between isotonic and hypertonic rinse please?  it seems to be on the packet....**
A: I think for a nasal rinse, the isotonic solution (small side of spoon) will just rinse out allergens whereas the hypertonic solution (large side of spoon) will draw out excess mucus or moisture.

A: Just salt.I mix it with bicarbonate of soda at a ratio of 3 salt to 1 bicarb to make it less stingy.

A: It will be somewhere buried in the salt
