Review: Another great installation in the series - This is the 9th book in the series and after Volumes 7 and 8, which were two parts and felt drawn out in my opinion, this book brings back all of the excitement of Vampire Hunter D. The feeling of a medieval time comes into play with a princess and her knights and a village under its rules but of course Vampire Hunter D provides a twist and by the end, you end up feeling conflicted about villains and heroes alike. The fight scenes and the pacing were much better in my opinion, throwing back to Volume 2. I highly encourage getting this book if you've been loving the Vampire Hunter D series!
