Ace Lighters

Looks just like the photo and preforms pretty well. Had to get our own lighter fluid, but that was expected.

I'm a Zippo lighter collector and I have rarely, if ever, have been disappointed by Zippo. This one, once again, is no exception. My EDC consists of silver, carbon fiber, and black and I figured a nice black/silver Zippo light would complement it nicely. This lighter fit my EDC perfectly. The design is nicely textured (it's not just pasted on) and gives a nice grip if necessary. The finish is clean and there are no loose or uneven spots. I did replace the inside with a butane insert as I dislike how many of the Zippo lighters have to be refilled usually every 2 weeks or so. By doing this, I can leave in the car permanently and not have to worry about it being empty when I need it. PROS: -Great design (love black/silver combos) -Great fit and finish CONS: -Not really a con since it's more of a standard, but short gas life (this can be alleviated by putting in a butane insert)

Solid piece of machinery!

A sharp looking lighter with a nice design. The photos on the Amazon listing are accurate but this thing is a bit of a chameleon. If you look closely the Amazon photos show two completely different looks and both are accurate. In indoor lighting, the engraved side can look cream colored or it can look chrome / metallic. It depends on the angle and strength of the light hitting it. I was hoping for or expecting a chrome / metallic look. But 90% of the time you are going to see the cream color. I think it's the etching process that creates the cream effect because in the right light, you can get the silver metallic look. As for the "Black Ice" color of the metal case, that too was a surprise. In the Amazon photos it looks like a very noticeable black chrome. In person when I first took it out of the box, I thought it was a standard chrome case that had been shipped in error. It was only when I put it next to another Zippo I own (Regal Armor High Polish Chrome) that I could tell it was indeed different. It is a black chrome but it's not easily noticeable unless you have a piece of regular chrome side by side for comparison. So if you're looking for something that is deep black with a high polish finish, this isn't it. This is much more subtle. I'm keeping it despite the fact that it isn't exactly what I was expecting. I don't mean to imply that it isn't attractive. It is. But it's one of those things that's really hard to depict accurately in a photo on a web page. I like the Ace Of Spades image. It's decorative but carries no iconography like crosses and skulls that will immediately get you tagged as religious or a biker. The design is neutral from that standpoint and the overall impression for me is just something from another era, an old lighter in perfect condition. That's the same reason I bought the Regal Armor lighter. They are both decorative without really calling up any certain image, just some classy artwork on an inexpensive little fire making tool.

So cool and durable! The style is also what I like. It's great.

Can't get much better than a Zippo Lighter, it looks cool, works well, and has that iconic Zippo flip sound.

Purtroppo: esternamente era integro però internamente no,quindi la parte interna esce con troppa facilità quindi non sono per niente soddisfatto.

Niente da dire, qualità Zippo, affidabile bello e resistente.

Un très joli briquet. Le capot brinquebale un peu au niveau de la mini vis de charnière mais nous avons demandé l'échange et le nouveau briquet fait pareil. Nous l'avons conservé, de toute façon le briquet est garanti à vie alors pas de souci. Pensez à acheter l'essence avec car il est livré vide !
