Lovely bottom end. Upgrade the tubes and it is sublime. I used Mullard ECF80's and OB2's. Add for all the other facilites add another 5 stars. Built like a tank - all metal construction. And the tubes are not purely for 'decoration'. They form the preamp section and run HOT. For this sort of money it's a no brainer. Update :6 months on and it's had a lot of use. Still sounds superb. No problems at all. Maybe some other reviewer may :- A). Have got a duff unit. B). Have to read the manual. C). Have to get some new headphones. D).
