The car had 134,000 miles. The diagnostic code read open fuel injection circuit for the middle cylinder, rear bank on the V6. These injectors should normally measure about 12 ohms resistance, the bad injector read 40,000 ohms and did not fire. The car was missing badly, running on 5 cylinders before replacement. After replacement, it ran great again. Replacing the injector is a lot of work, and really should only be done by a mechanic with good skills.
