Perfect fit for smaller Weed Eaters. Overpriced but a nice device for connecting a work strap or harness to a Weed Eater. The manufacturing quality is decent. I think the fastener parts are all stainless steel, which is certainly good. I especially like the (nylon washer) 10mm hex lockout, to fully secure the clamp to the Weed Eater shaft, meaning in addition to the standard threaded nut. It's a good idea and should not damage the Weed Eater over time. I like that you receive two of the metal loops, in case one were to ever break. Again this is best utilized for lighter Weed Eaters. It's easy to assemble. Be exact in measuring the shaft diameter. This product is designed to clamp very well but only when it is clamped to the correct shaft diameter range. Many light duty Weed Eaters come with a molded plastic loop designed for a work strap. If that breaks, this bolt on clamp is a good idea.

You know when you see one size fits all you know that yours will be an exception. It does not seem to apply to this. I used it on my Milwaukee 18 volt trimmer it fit perfect. I tried it on my stihl 131 R trimmer and it fit it also. The stihl comes with an attachment point. I was actually testing to see if it did indeed fit it. It’s easy to install and it should work great for years.

It works okay. All of the similar devices available on Amazon share the same design limitation. The ring that you connect to your harness is 90 degrees out of place. It appears to be a concession for ease of manufacturing and cost savings but it would work better if it was rotated 90 degrees to avoid creating a bind point with the harness end. This is probably one of the better ones despite that design limitation.

Well made, easy to install. It is not non slip however and if it's placement is not directly in line with the hanging force, it gradually slips closer to the engine until you have to stop and move it back where you want it. It works but is a pain in the ass. I would not recommend this product.
