It has five skin-tone-correct shades, and I wear the light. I was looking to shorten my skin care and beauty routine into one step. Bobbi Brown's literature says this formula is a skin care/makeup hybrid that's a cult favorite in Asia. It helps to hydrate and the light reflective pearls brighten dull skin, plus there are botanical extracts, caffeine, and peptides to help minimize the look of fine lines. I apply a thin, even layer using myfingertips. I use it both oas a makeup base or primer, or as a lightweight foundation on its own.I have tried a fair amount of BB creams on the market and most have just been OK, but nothing great. This one is the best I've tried. By itself it's pretty good if you want light, natural coverage. When I paired this with Bobbi's foundation stick it was superb. The two together gave me the look of flawless skin to the point where people noticed - and not the "wow you're make-up looks great" comments, but "wow your skin looks so beautiful" comments. It showed me that using products within the same line usually yields a better result. have light skin so I do need to wear moisturizer underneath, but if you have oily skin you could likely get away with not needing anything else except some consealer if you have dark circles or any sun damage that needs extra coverage. This is a great primer for Bare Minerals foundation, also.
