It attaches easy to a bare wall, I wouldn't stick it to wallpaper as it will rip it when you take it off, and the 5 panels are easily controlled with the app or alexa etc. You need to have internet access for the lights to fully work off of the cloud, however you can just switch it on at the wall for basic functionality without an internet connection. It is easy to use and we think it's great. It adds an extra dimension and is a conversation piece.
