I spent my days awaiting for the end of school and rushing home to turn on the TV for the next adventure Wishbone would take me on. As I grew and came to love reading more and more from watching this great show, Wishbone suddenly disappeared from my life in a flash. Never again I was to see that lovable dog do a turn in joy or dress is the clothes of the character that he was portraying. Now finally I have a chance to relive my childhood again and this time share it with my niece and nephews to show them it is a joy to read and dream.The fact that this DVD has all the shows that was released on DVD before, at a fair price that any has seen, will help others like it will help me to join the journeys we went on with Wishbone yet again. Very few things on television measure up to the positive influence of Wishbone. As a child growing up, this show played a big part in introducing me to classic literature and enticing me to become the reader I am today. Infact I minored in English in college and never got less than an A in any English class. Now, as an adult with a brother of 5 years old, Wishbone is somthing I am so proud to share with him. The picture, sound, and everything about this DVD would do Wishbone proud! I highly recommend people purchase this DVD so it can be around to share with generations to come and perhaps even more episodes will be released for us to share. The things on tv now do not compare to Wishbone. I would not let children watch very much on tv today. While harmless, things like Spongebob do not teach children anything but to act silly. Wishbone has messages about morality and learning and developing a love of reading and adventure. It encourages children to search for more in life. He remembers watching this as a child and asked for it. However, there are only 4 episodes on the one DVD, which we ordered. Before that, we had ordered 2 separate DVD's which are both on the 4 episode DVD. They were all very expensive. He is disappointed because he remembers a specific episode that I cannot find.
