I want to use them with the Linus screw driver with takes 1/4 inch bits. Will these work?** A: These bits are smaller than 1/4" and will not work with the Llnus Screwdriver **Q: Screwdrivers I've used in the past, are too wide and dont fit in the deeper holes to reach the screws at the bottom. Would these be thin enough?** A: Depends how much room you need it has a thin shaft at the connection but quickly tappers up to the grip. You might look into buying a dedicated screwdriver with a skinny shaft. There wasn't anything wrong with the first kit. It was disposed of after a fire in my classroom. Since the kit was an important tool both at home and at work, I needed to order it again. There are lots of less expensive tool sets out there that have the same bits, but those bits start to shred apart the moment I try to loosen or tighten a screw. This is not the case with the iFixit bits. No damage on any of the bits after multiple uses. Definitely worth the price to get quality tools. I've fixed MacBooks, a laminator, and a Joycon that belonged to a student with the first kit. I've also used it to help build model train cars.
