I bought this bag for a 3 day work trip to Tampa where I had short connections on both ends. Overhead compartment space is at a premium lately so I wanted one bag that could fit under the seat with all my things. It fit perfect, with space to shove my small crossbody purse next to it on both American and Southwest flights. I am short so leg room wasn’t an issue for me. The laptop area held my work HP fine, the end compartments were great for chargers and toiletry bag. Water bottle pocket was a definite plus. I used packing cubes for my clothes so when I got to the bite I just pulled those out and used it as my backpack for the office. The color and style is very neutral, and several people commented on it. Backpack straps were comfortable, and didn’t realize until the last day that you could cross over one strap to make it a duffel shoulder bag.
