## Description

CyKill Rodenticide Bait provides effective control of Norway Rats, Roof Rats, Cotton Rats*, Polynesian Rats*, White-throated woodrat*, Southern plains woodrat*, Mexican woodrat*, House Mice, Eastern Harvest Mice*, Golden Mice*, and Meadow Voles*. For RATS*: Place 1 to 6 ounces of bait per placement. Space placements at intervals of 15 to 30 feet in infested areas. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until there are no longer signs of new feeding by rats. For MICE AND MEADOW VOLES*: Apply ¼ to ½ ounces (1-2 level tablespoons) of bait at each placement location. Space placements at 8- to 12-foot intervals. Larger placements (up to 2 ounces) may be needed at points of very high house mouse activity. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 15 days or until there are no longer signs of new feeding by mice or meadow voles*. For Burrow Baiting: may only be applied to active burrows to control Norway rats and Roof rats within or beyond 100 feet of man-made structures constructed in a manner so as to be vulnerable to commensal rodent invasions and/or to harboring or attracting rodent infestations, provided that infestations of these rodents have been confirmed. Efforts should be made to remove food trash, garbage, clutter, and debris. Bait must be placed no less than 6 inches into active Norway/Roof rat burrows. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. *Not permitted for use against the following species in California: Cotton rat, Eastern harvest mouse, Golden mouse, Polynesian rat, White-throated woodrat, Southern plains woodrat, Mexican woodrat, Meadow vole

Review: Worked on resistant rats - Somehow rats started appearing in my yard in Seattle - mostly just running through it. I originally went with some pellets that were anti-coagulant, and the rats devoured that, but it didn't kill them, so my yard became even worse because they saw it as a food source. Next I tried a snap trap, which got some, but is way gross to handle, and some rats seemed wise to it. As a last effort before calling an exterminator, I tried this. The rats were eating this within minutes of putting it out! I was disappointed that I saw feeding on the second night, but by the third night - GONE!! Not a single sign of a rat! I had one huge rat and about 6 small ones that were using my yard like a freeway, and they just disappeared! Great product! Note: I don't have any pets, and made sure to use bait stations (cheap TomCat ones that I poured this stuff into). Apparently it is really dangerous for non-target animals. I think the quick-kill action is good because you only need it out for a few days, rather than the week plus that other products require. Also, squirrels were REALLY interested in the other product, but ignored this.

The rat ate a lot of Grub X in the garage and survived! I tried a noninvasive approach with 50/50 Jiffy corn mix to baking soda in the jiffy box. Rat loved it and survived! So I bought this poison and put in a baking box. The rat devoured it and eventually went outside and died. It was either too hot inside or it needed a drink.

A: CyKill is labeled for rats and mice as it was formulated to be attractive to them.  We can not recommend any use of this product for animals not specified on the label.

It is 99% food grade bait, so it is important to keep it out of reach of non-target animals and away from pests and insects and protected from extreme environment conditions.

Doesn't work. Rats enjoy it and don't die. They seem to actually proliferate with it. It does attract them but does not kill them.
