This is the Neutral version of White Dims, If your lights are extremely cool in tone or feeling or are 5,000K you may prefer the Subtle Warm White Dims version. This version White Dims Neutral do their best to maintain your lights tone and color. Note LightDims do not work well on curved or uneven surfaces. This product is not for displays that need to be readable. If you need something to dim a display we recommend LightDims Medium Strength sheets or Original Strength sheets. ONLY FOR USE ON LED BASED LIGHTING! Never put LightDIms on Anything that get over 205 degrees F. WhiteDims are the perfect solution to dim/soften overhead indoor ceiling lights or outdoor lights without making the room to dark. If the lights are still too bright simply add another layer of White Dims. White Dims LightDims diffuse / soften harsh LED light and blend well with White Electronics. The concept is simple, if you are the type of person who likes the debonair look of your white electronic product but are irritated by the bright lights on it, then LightDims White Dims are for you. The problem is that your electronics LED lights are too bright. Lightdims are specially designed, to act like sunglasses for irritating LED's on your electronics. A: Yes, this purchase does come with 2 sheets and it also comes with a free gift valued at 50% of the purchase price. We normally don't like to advertise this free gift because we like to under promise and over deliver but since you asked, you can rest assured that you will get more than you paid for. Also if you order directly from us on our website we offer custom laser cutting of any sizes and shapes you need for free but you can easily cut the sizes you need yourself. Some people use bowls or cubs as a stencil to trace their desired shape. Remember to put  LightDims on LED-based Lighting and never on incandescent or halogen lights. **Q: Can these be used to stick over spotlights?**
A: Yes, people love using LightDims White Dims on spotlights. If and only if 
The light source does not get above 200℉  also known as 93°C
LED light sources to date do not get this hot but in the future, they may so be safe.
Halogen and incandescent are not safe for LightDims because they get much hotter than 200℉, however in some cases, if there is a plastic cover already over the light that gets to hot, putting lightdims on the cover is acceptable because at this distance the temperature is less than 200℉.

Some tips:
1. You can layer our products to Dim/soften even more creating the desired effect but in most cases, 1 layer works fine.
2. Make sure the surface is both clean, dry and free of dust before you apply our LightDIms WhiteDims to it, this will allow it to stick indefinitely through rain or shine.
3. You can peel off any time should you choose to.

What are the implications if the light source becomes too hot. 
It is important to determine the temperature of the lights (where you intend to apply the LightDims) because the adhesive can start to liquefy, above 200℉, the higher you go in temperature the worse the problems become. Above 230℉ The Material will start to get soft, and ripple, above 250℉ The material may start to melt. None of these effects are good for your Light. If our products are placed on a halogen bulb which can get over 300℉ the bulb may burst!

Another question-will the white ones affect the color of the light
No, and yes. In most situations, our White Dims are designed to not affect the color of the light at all. However, we have found with some cheaper LED’s and their corresponding frequencies and color temperatures (not to be confused with heat temp) We have found that if on these LED’s you place the White Directly on the LED and not on the cover the light color may change. However, if there is a cover already over the LED and you place the White Dim on the cover there is no color change.

If you get 4 packages or more we will even laser cut the exact sizes and shapes you need. You may want to wait until you can measure.

**Q: Can I use them outside?**
A: Yes, many people use LightDIms WhiteDims Outside.  With all LightDims make sure the surface you are applying LightDIms to is both clean and dry before you apply them.

**Q: We have a glass plate in front of the LED, do we stick the film outside of the glass plate or inside.**
A: Stick on inside of the glass. Use a round plate to cut out a template of cardboard for cutting to the correct size . You can then add layers to dim the light to your liking.

A good idea and it works. I use it on an outdoor flood light which my neighbours across the road were complaining is too bright so this resolved it while still giving me.llenty of brightness for parking at night.
