**Q: What's the difference between the "*new* contour" and "shape shift" models?**
A: There has been an upgrade to the design with the plug and play port on the side and the bite valve also.  There is also a handle to make it easier for filling.

**Q: Will this work with a Dakine Hot Laps 5L pack with 2L lumbar hydration pack inside?**
A: The 2L vertical reservoir will not work with the Dakine Hot Laps 5L pack.  It will only accomodate a lumbar reservoir which only comes in the 1.5L size.

**Q: dose this fit for Dakine Hot Laps 5L Fanny Pack**
A: You will need to measure your Dakine Hot Laps hip pack and be sure the 1.5 contour can fit.  This is the measurements: 8.8 in x 11.1 in

The vertical reservoirs are not compatible.

**Q: Is the contour one designed to be worn around your lower back?  Do either of these keep water cold?**
A: This reservoir is designed to be used in a lumbar pack.  To keep your water colder longer you can put some water (about 1/5) in the reservoir and leave in the freezer overnight.
