NEEWER 192 LED Video Light Panel, 20W Ultra Thin Bi Color Camera Light

Great light and very slim and easy to store. This is ideal as a vlogging light or for still life photography, it is reasonably powerful given the size but as stated more suited to the above.

I bought this light for my studio based on the brand having used them before and this light performs above my high expectations, the adjustable colour and brightness make this a perfect addition to any studio

This Neewer NL-192AI video light panel is roughly 19 x 27 x 2.5cm and weights about 580grams. As the product name might suggest there are 192 leds in the panel; they are bicolour white LED’s and on the back of the light you can select a colour temperature between 3200 and 5600k so it’s limited to warmer orangey whites to neutral daylights – you can’t lean into cooler blade runner blueish whites. For me that’s fine I shoot almost exclusively on daylight 5600kelvin. The panel is VERY even across its entire width as the leds inside are firing from the edges to the insides rather than arrayed along its surface. Neewer claim you get 660 Lux at 1m. The controls are easy to use thanks to the LED screen on the back and separate dials to adjust brightness and temperature. Also, on that led panel there is a battery life meter as this panel can be used stand-alone running on internal battery. You charge it with the included wall wort style power adaptor (sadly the NL-192AI doesn’t have usb-c charging.) When charged I found I averaged 98 minutes over four full drain cycles at temperatures around 23c. It takes around 2 hours to charge it back up when empty. You can run the light on the power adaptor and charge and run the light at the same time. The pack includes a cold shoe adaptor; so, I put the light on my smallest mirrorless camera for a fun scale picture. Despite it being designed for mobile use Neewer haven’t included a bag with this light. The even light makes this a good panel with or without the battery; being able to run with the internal battery is good. If 90 minutes of battery works for your battery run time project needs its great; if you need longer you can plug in and run on the mains. If 90 minutes of runtime on battery isn’t enough the long recharge time likely limits its usefulness compared to running lights with external battery packs. If you are looking at this im going ot assume 90 minutes is enough and it gets 4* as a result; faster charging or usb-c charging would have made it a 5.

Excellent. A few years ago I purchased the smaller version of these lights, which are ideal for providing natural looking, soft, shadow-free lighting. These larger versions are slightly better simply because the lit area is greater. They seem to hold a good charge, so no need for (potentially hazardous) trailing wires when in use. Light to carry.

For the price this light is great. Coupled with the fact it is rechargable and I'm very pleased with it

Their light weighs very little so is easy to transport around (which was one of the key reasons I bought as I have some very effective lights but they are super heavy and not very portable) - these initially were exciting because of their weight, but fully charged batteries ran out super quickly. Also it doesn’t come with ANY kind of protective pouch or bag which is annoying for wanting to transport it without damage.

I put the light over my monitor to brighten my desk and when i am doing podcasts or zoom calls. What i like about it is that the light is not harsh...its still strong but the diffuser like structure of the light means the bulbs are not in your face. It makes everything smooth and while i don't even have it on full it does the job quite well. I used a neewer desk clamp on stand so everything fits in the background the way i need it. I know it has a battery on board but i have it permanently socketed to the wall as i don't move it so while i cant really talk about battery life i can say while its on its amazing...
