210N TRANSFOROD 11-In-1 Adjustable Angle Knife Sharpener

Sharpal has hit a home run for guided field sharpeners with added features that make knife sharpening fast, easy, and effective. Especially for people just starting out. By stowing in the handle, any grit or metal dust from the diamond sharpening rods stays in the handle, and not all over anything else you're carrying, and makes it easy to keep track of your assorted diamond rods. The sharpener includes 7 sharpening rods and two strops. 2 each 320 grit round diamond rods, 2 each 1000 grit round diamond rods, 2 ceramic honing rods, a tapered diamond rod for serrated knives, fishhooks and such, and both a rough and smooth leather strop, all in one tool. The angle is adjusted by the orange, knurled knob mid-handle. You can set your angle from 15 to 30 degrees in moments. I recommend going just a bit steeper than the angle you're shooting for. I explain why in the video. Twisting the orange knob extends the orange paddles on each side of the handle, the there's a window that shows you where you have the angle set. By having one rod on each side of the sharpener, you can easily maintain your desired angles on each side of your blade while keeping the cutting edge pushing away from you. The round rods make it easy to maintain your angle, across the full length of the blade, even on curved bladed knives. I own several Sharpal products including assorted sharpeners and strops. This tool does it all! Hones, Sharpens, recreates a dull or chipped edge! You name it and it does it! This design helps beginners correctly hold the angle with built-in guides on both sides of the tool face. It has changeable rods for coarse diamond, fine diamond and ceramic extra fine PLUS there is a coarse and fine leather for stropping. And if that's not enough, there is also a fine diamond rod for sharpening combination edges and even fishing hooks! Turn it over and the whole rod fits in the handle. One more thing, it also has a Broadhead Arrow tool so you don't risk cutting yourself when removing them from your arrows! This tool is amazing. I took dull kitchen knifes to razor sharp in minutes all on this tool. I've used it to strop up my pocket knives and it works wonders for virtually all steel types, using either dry or wet agents. Don't even think about it, just buy it. It pays for itself in just one use. Everyone should know that a sharp tool is a safe tool!

very good device for quick sharpening of knives

I’d give this a 4.5, but I can’t andI think a 4 would be unfair. This pack’s a fairly comprehensive sharpener setup into a reasonably sized packable package. I’ve seen several YouTube videos just skip the fact that everything fits in the handle. A couple misrepresent that it doesn’t and ding it for its size. I think this is due to its main flaw, which is that the threads for screwing in the front part that holds the sharpening rods is not that precise. Which means you have to crank on it pretty good to align the rods with the angle guides. The factory does this and it takes a good deal of effort to get it loose the first time as well as decent effort to get it aligned on reassembly. Other than that it works great with the only real question in my mind being how long the diamond rods will last before they are used up.

great idea but the angle guide gets in way . first part of blade hard to reach. i wish the handle was thinner. but could still store rods. get rid of angle guide.

I really like this sharpener and find it very comfortable to use effectively. The diamond rods have good grit on them and I love having the ceramic rods for honing. The strop is a little small but it makes it a complete sharpening system that is very effective and portable.

This thing is awesome. It has enough grits to take your knife to a hair shaving edge in the field. It comes with 325 amd 1000 grit diamond rods. They both cut steel fast and well. Also comes with 2 ceramic rods that refine the scratch pattern very nicely. Then you take it to the leather to fi ish it off and remove the burr. I'd add a little compound of your choosing to help that process along. The last one is the diamond hook and serrated knife sharpener. Screws in easily. And works well. You also have angle guide built I to this sharpener that are adjustable. Easily adjustable might I add. One last thing is the broad head tool on the bottom. Use it to tighten down or remove broad heads from your arrows. This thing is just over all awesome. I'm quickly becoming a sharpal fan boy. I have their field sharpener which is this. Their 162N double sided diamond plate and their double sided paddle strop. They are all very well made and work so good. Would highly recommend!

Flimsy construction. The diamond bit construction seems a little cheap not the highest quality of glue you normally see or impregnition process is lacking. Worst case scenario are remove all the rods and store them in my survival go kit use them individually... They actually might sit very well inside of my walking cane that you break down like a bunch of mag lights screwed together you know the one. Go fit perfectly in one of those chambers for emergency sharpening

Die kompakte Größe ist super ähnlich wie eine Taschenlampe. Die Höhe entspricht im abgebauten Zustand einer handelsüblichen 500ml Dose, aufgebaut dem doppelten. Das Handstück liegt gut in der Hand ähnlich wie ein Werkzeug (was es ja auch ist) Die Schleifstäbe machen einen guten Eindruck und konnten auch im Test das Messer mit 61 HRC problemlos schärfen. Die Winkelhilfe ist sehr präzise einstellbar und bleibt auch unter Druck stabil. Den Winkel muß man dann aber selber halten können/lernen. Die Keramikstäbe geben ein gutes Finish und sind in meinem Fall auch unter stärkeren Druck in der Führung nicht zerbrochen. Das abziehleder ist einmal grob und fein und macht was es soll. Die Zeit wird zeigen wie lange das hält bisher nach 25 Messern, 2 Äxten und diversen Gartengeräten macht es immer noch das was es soll Der Aufbau ist simple. Handstück, schleifpaket oder Spitze drauf, festdrehen, fertig. In Sekunden einsatzbereit und genauso schnell auch wieder verstaut. Das schleifpaket lässt sich bequem im Griff verstauen. Im schleifpaket selbst sind die anderen Aufsätze und Ersatzstäbe verstaut. Das Prinzip ist wirklich simple gehalten und sollte von jedem genutzt werden können. Die Anleitung ist übersichtlich und enthält alle Details die relevant sind. Sogar eine empfohlene Winkel Tabelle ist dabei. Alles in allem ist dies wirklich ein grund solides und durchdachtes Produkt.

Cet aiguiseur fait un boulot assez impressionnant. J'avais du mal à aiguiser certaines de mes lames, du fait que je ne parviens pas a garder un angle constant. L'objet en lui même est quali, il a rendu mes lames rasoir. Rien a lui reprocher pour un tel prix.

Ho altri prodotti del marchio, e devo dire che nonostante non siano il top in commercio, se usati con criterio senza forzarlo troppo fà il suo lavoro è con un po' di manualità si raggiungono livelli professionali
