Great guild scope and occasional imaging telescope.
I got this for a guild scope, but it also works great with the Starzona field flattener for a lightweight imaging telescope. I found a 3D printed setup that clamps the scope and holds the mini computer, guild scope, and EAF focuser. There is a lot of backlash with the focuser, and I haven't gotten auto focus to work with this scope yet. There isn't enough backfocus adjustments to use with a star diagonal. I have also used it for electronically assisted astronomy with a camera attached, and with my ASIair for a go-to visual astronomy.

Awesome budget friendly telescope for astrophotography
First if you don't have a tracking mount, I would suggest making that your priority over the scope. As a guide scope it is overkill, but for astrophotography it is a great cheaper option to a Red Cat and works great with DSLRs, mirror less and astrocams as long as the sensor is a APSC size of smaller. Also a very important note if you purchase a Field flatener (a must to really get the most out of the telescope) do not buy the skywatcher field flatener unless you are using a dedicated astronomy camera only as they do not have the required back focus for a DSLR or Mirrorless camera. For the back focus for all camera models it will require the Starizona EvoFF flatener and with the flatener in place it jumps the focal length up to 258mm. I suggest this scope to anyone getting into astrophotography simply because it can be a very expensive hobby and this scope is a great wide field scope that is nice and compact and portable that can be used as a guide scope with future setups, which could be done with a Red cat but at a fraction of the price. In the photos, Andromeda and the North America Nebula were captured using a unmodified Canon T3i (600d) and the Dumbbell nebula was captured using a ZWO ASI178mc planetary camera, as well as a photo of the complete imaging rig. Cheers and clear skies.

Outstanding, pin point stars for guiding.
Solid high quality, total value, absolute top shelf, light years above the other popular name brands. I've got 4 other guide scopes, the Sky Watcher just made them nearly obsolete with Pin Point stars! My guiding star size got reduced by 3 times, the auto multiple star guide picked out a dozen stars and that's twice as much as my best night with the other 4 guide scopes. I use a ASI 120MM and a ASI 220MM, both had sharp stars to the edge, without optional reducer. My guiding total error dropped dramatically compared to my other 50MM & 30MM scopes! All of the above totally justified the price. The Vixen base and spacer is solid aluminum, but you lose that weight when you attach the finder scope base. Understand that naturally there is some slop in the focus ring, as with most every focus ring, similar to gear back lash, but once you tighten the focus lock screw, it holds! All 5 stars, my only disappointment is I should've purchased a long time ago and not messed with other Z-brand, S-brand or E-brand guide scopes. I rarely write reviews, but this guide scope earned it.
