Out of the box this is capable of holding 400 discs. **Q: does anyone else store the booklets you get with cds in this? I have 380 cd's and booklets in it and cannot close it** A: I store my booklets and covers in document protectors in separate notebooks. It allows me to store the items for several hundred DVD/CD's in less space than the 400 discs these binders hold. **Q: How is the zipper quality?** A: No problems with zipper quality! Seems to be well made. **Q: With the weight of all the discs, do any on the lower pages get scratched or rubbed in such a way that the player's optic can't read them?** A: I haven't had a problem with the discs scratching. My problem is that the large (400-disc) binders are way too heavy for me (I have a rotator cuff injury on my dominant side and a resulting weakness in said shoulder).
