No matter how much I adjusted the nut, it continued to turn down. Rather than contort my head while riding to see what was behind me, I began searching for a replacement. Since the OEM originals aren't as available anymore (you can find used ones on ebay ... ) I saw these MZS motorcycle mirrors at a great price, excellent reviews for the most part and gave them a shot. I am glad I did. The first thing you need to know if they are made of plastic. Not the cheap flimsy plastic on many Chinese imports, but plastic nonetheless. However, the important bits are metal and overall, the whole thing weighs more than my original mirrors. The connection to the bike is by an odd shaped bolt with a spring, two washers and a lock nut that is super easy to install. Getting the lock nut to connect was a bit of a challenge at first. Keep in mind you need to compress a spring to make a full connection. You'll need a metric wrench/socket set. The set comes with 4 different mounting bolt sizes so you should be able to fit it to most bikes. The mirrors are fully adjustable and have a great design. The mirror is large! I was afraid that the mirror viewing surface would be tiny but not to worry. These aren't chrome but they don't detract from the look of my bike. In fact, they match my fairing perfectly If you're looking for good quality, you can't go wrong for the price with these. The instructions aren't in the box. They are included with the listing. A bit inconvenient, but take a good look at the photos and you won't have any problems.
