When they go bad it’s almost always due to being poorly installed. Lever connectors are easier to install (and remove) so the chance of a poor connection is reduced. In forty years I’ve had little trouble with traditional wire nuts, and yet I doubt I’ll ever use another one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 100 times better than standard wire plugs *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 31, 2020* An electrician that I hired to do some work on a rental property I have showed me these connectors. I was always used to the type that you have to twist the wires onto or the type that you push in to connect the wires. These are so much better and easier to use. With the twist type, you have to twist the wires together and then twist the cap on to the wires and then put electrical tape around it. I often found that some of the wires wouldn't catch and I would have to take it apart and do it over.The push in type are great unless you need to remove the wire for some reason and then its either a pain or you end up having to cut the wire and throw away the connector. These Lever-Nuts are not only reusable, but also allow you to connect standard wire and stranded wire together. Add to the fact that all you have to do is insert the wires and push the clip down and you are all set. You don't even need to use electrical tape, although old habits wont allow me not to use tape. In my opinion, there are no better electrical connectors on the market to use. I only wish they sold them locally, but since I can get them pretty quickly through Amazon, I really have no major complaints. The only issue I had is the box they came in was broken and a clip was missing to close it. Not really a big deal overall though.
