Clicking it will expose more of the gel to the environment thereby making the evaporation faster. In general it lasts for atleast 2 months when placed in a car **Q: The cost rs 265 included the refill cost also or it is only the starter cost** A: The first kit includes one instrument + one refill for first use. It does not include 2nd refill.By the way, the blue one is really awful. I have just kept it aside - it is too strong and smells like surf and gives a bad headache. If you like strong smells go for it, else choose something else. **Q: The cool surf blue "click" gel smells different from the "twist" gel** A: I have bought "twist" gel but not used yet.
