Cute lights up makes noises adorable, till my 3 year old decided to try it on mom and got it stuck in my hair when I wasn't looking, now it's clocked with hair and won't go, but users fault not company's really was/ is cute. Functions great, he loves it still fits in with the train track but you do need the peices that connect to open ends to each other otherwise your train track won't connect

This little train is so cool I love that it comes with the remote so you don't have to mess with the train on the track it climbs pretty good and has a good speed to it I also love that it's rechargeable cuz other trains we have required batteries and with how much we play with it it's kind of a hassle having to change batteries every other day only thing I would say is if this is for a small child to make sure they don't get this near their hair this happened to my son and it got pretty tight up to his head because it doesn't shut off I had to put it in reverse to get it out luckily that worked but other than that so far so good we just got a few days ago and it's still going strong

My nearly 4 year old loves his new red choo-choo train, and this thing provides hours of play. It does require a charge once in awhile, but I have found that after only about ten minutes or less of charging it is ready to be played with again. It comes with the locomotive and the train car, as well as a remote that has various switches and buttons on it, as well as a tunnel for the train to drive through and which can connect to the other Brio wooden track pieces we have. It also drives very fast so it keeps his attention more than other trains he played with before getting this one. You won't be disappointed!

First of all, the product directions are not included in the packaging. You will find them in the Amazon advertisement. Weird. I purchased this because it has a rechargeable battery through a USB port rather than the usual AA batteries. Of course, it does not include a charger, but does include a cord. The engine lit up during the charging period, as it should. The directions call for about a 40 minute charge. When the light goes off it will be fully charged. My light never went off. To turn on the engine you press the button on top for about 3 seconds. After several tries of more than 3 seconds, the engine never turned on. At this price point I knew that this was not going to be very high quality. But it turned out to be your typical Chinese piece of garbage. I am returning it and requested a replacement hoping that the five year old, for whom this was intended, can wait patiently another couple of days. So glad that this was not a Christmas gift.REPLACEMENT ITEM Amazon was very good about replacing the item quickly. This time it charged and ran — for two minutes. I charged it again with the same result. I cannot stress enough how disappointing this has been to a five year old and to me who has had to deal with this very poor quality item. No replacement this time. I’ll try a different product entirely. Fingers crossed.

My kids were very happy with it for the first 2 weeks. Today, it would turn on but would not move. You could hear the gears turning, but the wheels would not. I opened it up and found the gear on the rear axle was broken, half of the teeth had worn off and were just floating around inside.

The product is odd in that the controller requires batteries, but the train itself is rechargeable. We had trouble getting the train to charge because it didn't come with a charging cable and the first cable we tried didn't work, it only works with certain micro USB cables. But eventually we did find one that worked and now my son loves it.

This Z Mayobbo electric train exceeded my expectations! It is faster and clings to the wooden track better than my high priced Brio engine. Yet not too fast - - but enough to generate interest. I bought the remote control version, and it works well, if you want it. The tunnel flashes lights and makes train sounds. The train car stays attached well to the engine. The fact that it recharges with an included USB cord is maybe the best feature. It stays running strong a long time! It rarely goes off track, which is always a bummer. A little painters tape under the track connections helps make for a smoother ride on my old tracks. I intend to order another one soon!

There are several things worth to mention:- our set arrived defected: the 'button' that presses the real button that initiates the sounds/lights in the tunnel has only one 'holder' instead of 2. It's not broken, the place where the other part should be is not sharp, and we never heard any noise in the box. As a parent, I'm not very sad as it's loud. My kid can still press with a tool or sometimes one of the cars reach down enough to press the button. But assembly: bad.- I could not recharge the train with a normal recharger just with the cable included in the box. I don't like this. Also, I would have preferred if I could just put rechargable li-on batteries.- Sounds are very loud, and you can't turn them off/down. You will hear a sound when it starts/stops. I like the sounds that the extra buttons make.- the train is really fast. Let's say that's positive.- but ! it's very light and because of the weight distribution it can't go uphill backwards. It has difficulties sometimes going forward uphill.- my kid is very happy with the remote controller, and I think it's a good step before buying a RC car.- as others mentioned, both end of the tunnel has the same shape, so one extra element needed. I would have been very happy to get just a 'link' element, worth about 10 cents, but I can't really buy just one.
