Compared to other options - the price, the reviews, and so far my trial over the last month have shown that this brand is the way to go. It's priced fair in my opinion based on similar products, and customer service has felt superior to any customer service I have dealt with. There are two primary gentlemen who always answer for technical questions and support. They are professional and patient. The free plan is what I use. I can't speak for the other plans which include video feed, storage, etc. I hoped the door/window sensors could be mounted with screws - oh well I just got double sided Velcro tape. Also, each component must be made or sold by Oplink. Otherwise any additions to the security system that are a different name simply won't work. I wish though, and maybe those from Oplink read this, that there was an option to purchase any siren you wanted. The siren is loud for indoors- but there are better ones out their I'm sure.
