So next time you turn it on, you get the next mode in the list.... surprise, that might be strobe! this really knocks off a solid 2 stars to me, I want a light to turn back on where it was when I last turned it off!the AAA battery insert is...peculiar. it's not clear what direction it should be installed in, if you didn't notice it when you pulled it out. the CORRECT direction is for the nipple end to go TOWARD the spring end (bulb side). this is easier to make happen if you remove the tail cap, instead of the light end, to gain access. there are no markings anywhere to guide. Removing the 3 AAAs from the insert is reasonably easy, but might require fingernails. No quick change here.a bit -too- girthy for easy pocketability, but could be worse.I'd love to see a 2x or 3x AA version of this (maybe with 3v support for 14500's) with the batteries inline instead of the insert. ### ⭐ Not very impressive *by L***R on December 22, 2019* Didn't last me an hour. The second I got it, I put the battery in the charging cradle until the cradle light turned green. I go outside to see just what I've purchased, maybe 5 minutes after I turned it on it went out.
