It is a good product but it is extremely high in protein and if a dog gets too much protein it can cause convulsions. This happened with my 8 year old lab. If you want to feed it I recommend that you be very cautious, only give a 1/2 inch piece once a day, and watch your dog carefully for any signs of convulsions such as drooling or slobbering.
