While I realize this is the fault of amazon warehouse procedures as I later learned from amazon customer service, I still had to spend MY time to pack both of the light bulbs AND get instructions from amazon and then had to PRINT out the return address label as well as an invoice from amazon. Then I had to take the package to an UPS Store and send it back to amazon. Northern Light needs to be very clear about the very fragile nature of their light bulbs so customers are not inconvenienced and disappointed as I was, and have their products packed with much more care. Secondly, amazon did not want to credit my account for the light bulbs but the customer svc rep. (whose words I could barely understand) said they would send me replacement bulbs instead. I took the package to UPS and got a tracking number/receipt. When the other 2 light bulbs arrived in about 4 days, we installed them into the Northern Technology Lamp and both of them flickered constantly and never provided full light. Evidently they were Defective. So I had to contact amazon cust svc AGAIN and repeat the process to send light bulbs back for a Refund (credit). When amazon sent me an email with the credit, it only gave me my refund for 1 light bulb! Back to the phone with amazon cust svc! This time at least I could understand what she said to me. Oops! Amazon made an error and she said she would have another credit refunded. To this day, two weeks later, I still have not received an email from amazon with the credit/refund on it! I am really at my wits end and when I receive my credit card statement, there had better be 2 credits for the full amount of those defective light bulbs or I will dispute the charges that amazon has made on my credit card. I don't have the time or energy to deal with amazon customer svc! By the way, those light bulbs cost almost $30 each! I was able to purchase a New Lamp from another company for $80! That is only $20. more than those 2 light bulbs. In the future, I am going to be much more careful about buying things from amazon. Not a happy customer of amazon.
