The body construction is good. The instrument looks good.The tone is somewhat tinny even for a ukulele. The tuners are geared, but are not high quality. It was very challenging getting the initial tune and the strings continue to drift flat with playing. I think this is a string issue and not a tuner issue.The kit includes a very nice Posi-Tune Compact Tuner and 3 good quality felt picks.
