I received all the pieces in three shipments over the course of about two weeks if I remember correctly. There was about six or seven boxes total.Assembly:The sectional was quite easy to assemble, and the only tool needed is provided (the one with the blue handle). The instruction manual came in one of the later shipments for me, but there's a video on this listing page that also teaches you how to assemble the couch.Comfort:The seat cushions lean a little on the firm side, but it's not uncomfortable to sit on. The back cushions are a bit low in my opinion, but I've found myself flipping the cushions 90 degrees to rest my head against it on movie nights. The fabric of the couch is a bit like chenille, I haven't had any issues with scratchiness.Color:I bought the dark grey. In warmer lighting, however, I'd say the fabric looks more like a dark green-grey. Just something to keep in mind when purchasing as it threw me off a little.Other:A couple nitpicks would be that the velcro attaching the support layer to the bottom of the seat cushion in the ottomans is a bit weak. There is also still some wrinkles in areas where the cushion had to be crammed in the packaging.Overall:Between the storage seats, washable covers and the ability to double as a guest bed, I'd say this sectional offers a lot of functionality for the price point.
