It was gorgeous! I had never seen anything like it. Being a crafty person, I wanted to learn about them. After reading reviews, I decided to give it a try. I ordered 3 books on the subject that were a suggested bundle from Amazon. The book is one of the best and most detailed art/craft books I have purchased. The diagrams are incredibly detailed. There are black and white pictures of the finished products. I have not had the opportunity to try this yet but when I do I will update my review. The main reason I wanted to review this early is because of the suggested bundle purchase from the website. It included this book and another book called Creating Gem, Beaded, & Bonsai Wire Trees. I did not notice that these two books were authored by the same person. All the techniques and projects from this book are included in the other book as well as other tree projects. The other book also included great information on supplies, tools, and marketing your trees. This book was copyrighted in 2009 and the other book in 2013. I would suggest the purchase of the other book due to the redundancy of the information and the additional information provided in the second book. The instructions are forthright and very clear. Trying to find fringe beads are not. They are buried under seed beads and many companies missrepresent what they actually have when you try to look fringe beads up on the internet.
