Apple Polishing Cloth

This product is comparatively expensive but does the job really well.

Not much to say about it except that it's absolutely amazing quality. I recently got a Macbook and was looking for a microfibre cloth, but I decided to not cheap out just in case and got myself the official Apple one. The quality is absolutely fantastic. The price might put people off, but if you've already spent so much on a Macbook, the last thing you want to do is cheap out on a cloth to keep your screen clean.

This is a great product and, as simple as it sounds for a polishing cloth, it does the job really well. It feels soft, high quality and works nicely for cleaning screens and keeping them free from smudges without leaving marks behind. It is the kind of product that feels very well made, and it does give that premium impression you would expect. It works especially well on devices where you want to clean the screen gently and properly without worrying about scratches. The only real downside is the price, because it is definitely expensive for a cloth. That said, the quality is there, and it performs very well, so I still can’t really fault the product itself. Overall, an excellent polishing cloth that works brilliantly, but you do pay more than you probably should. Great product, just overpriced.

Was dubious about getting this cloth at this price point….blown away by how effective it. Much better than my usual spectacle cleaning cloths. It is just the right size. This cleans my iPad Pro perfectly well and I notice the surface doesn’t gather dust as quickly as before. Recommend

It’s from Apple so it’s good. If you think it’s too expensive, when you just spent over 2 thousand pounds on a new iPad I think this is a justifiable outlay, to look after your expensive bit of kit. Quality excellent, easy to use, very effective especially on the nano texture glass. Good cleaning ability. No scrimp, especially if you invested in a new iPad etc.

Classic Apple. Yes, it wipes well, it’s soft, and it works. It’s a microfibre cloth; what more is there to say. Yes, it’s horrifically overpriced. Yes, I did buy it.

Hmm, ein Poliertuch von einem Computerhersteller zu einem unglaublichen Preis. Da fallen einem ja gleich so einige Adjektive ein, und keines davon ist erst einmal positiv... Vor ein paar Jahren, ich glaube es war 2009, habe ich einen Panasonic Fernseher gekauft bei dem ein sich unangenehm anzufassender Microfaserlappen beilag. Ob man es jetzt glaubt oder nicht, aber am schnellsten und vor allem streifenfreiesten habe ich die Kunststoffoberfläche des Panels nur mit genau dieser Dreingabe und einem Tropfen Wasser sauber bekommen. Aber warum habe ich mich nun für dieses Putztuch entschieden? Mein iMac (Glasscheibe) habe ich bis jetzt immer mit irgend einem feinporigen Microfasertuch und einschlägigem Reinigungsmittel (Glaseiniger und irgendetwas für glatte Oberflächen) gereinigt. Das hat mir bis jetzt immer gereicht. Nun wurde das gute Stück ausrangiert und sollte weitergegeben werden. Ich gehöre zu den Menschen, die so etwas dann Saubermachen, und dabei ist mir im Gegenlicht das Grauen entgegengesprungen. Die Glasoberfläche war richtiggehend verschmiert, was mir so bei der täglichen Arbeit bei eingeschaltetem Monitorbild nicht weiter aufgefallen war. Aber das bemerkenswerteste ist, das alle Reinungsversuche mit meinen angestammten Mittelchen die Sache nur noch verschlimmert haben. Und da kommt das Apple-Poliertuch ins Spiel. Trocken und ohne flüssige Zusätze ließen sich die Verschmutzungen rückstandsfrei wegpolieren. Schnell, und ohne großen Zeitaufwand. Genau das macht dieses Tuch preiswert. Es wird sauber, es geht schnell, und wenn ich Apple glauben will, dass beschädigt es auch nicht die Antireflexbeschichtung der Displays. Davon, dass sich das Tuch wertig anfühlt oder die elegante Verpackung will ich hier nicht näher eingehen. Die Verpackung fliegt sowieso in den Müll, und ob das Tuch nun wie groß genau ist mag für den einen wichtig sein, aber für mich ist das Apple Poliertuch, nun, sagen wir mal, ein Reinigungswerkzeug. Ich würde es jedenfalls wiederkaufen. Allerdings habe ich keine Ahnung, wie der Lappen in ein paar Monaten oder Jahren aussieht und ob der gewaschen werden kann, ist mir aber auch egal. Ich werde mir in Zukunft jedenfalls nicht mehr die Atemwege mit Glasreiniger verätzen nur um mir anschließend mit einen Microfasertuch vom Discounter eine Sehnenscheidenentzündung in den Arm zu polieren.
