I was expecting a cheap plywood with low-quality assembly. I was surprised when it turned out to be rather nice only containing some minor issues. My only complaint is that it could use some better instructions. I also very much enjoyed that it came with tools and a bookmark.As for the assembly, it was a little tricky. Took me a few tries to figure out the build order and I messed up the lower insert. Once built it held up rather well and the included wall anchor is very strong. Yet it is also aesthetically pleasing and comes with adjustable anchoring (screws and plastic 'hardware') to stabilize it on carpeted floors or if placing large books that might otherwise cause it to tip forwards, especially if you have toddlers/preschoolers playing around it who are likely to bump into it.
